DAY 01Arrive at Delhi

Arrive in Delhi by international flight. Upon arrival, a KVT representative will greet you at the airport and assist you to your vehicle. You will then be transferred to your hotel.

In the afternoon, begin your sightseeing tour of the city. Travel to Old Delhi to visit the historic Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Old Delhi built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Afterwards, enjoy an engaging cycle rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes and vibrant alleyways of Old Delhi—an experience often missed by typical tourists.

Continue to Khari Baoli, the biggest wholesale spice market in Asia. Later, drive past some of New Delhi’s most iconic colonial-era landmarks, including Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House and India Gate—a memorial dedicated to soldiers of the First World War.

DAY 02Fly to Bagdogra, Drive to Pelling

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival, meet your local representative and proceed on a scenic drive to Pelling (2150m). Arrival in Pelling and check-in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax.

Pelling, located in West Sikkim, is the second most visited destination in the state. Perched on a lush green ridge, it offers spectacular views of the Himalayas and the majestic Kanchenjunga.

DAY 03Pelling Sightseeing, Drive to Yuksom

After breakfast, begin your Pelling city tour with a visit to the impressive 137 ft. statue of Chenrezig (Avalokitesvara), along with the Pelling Sky Walk—a glass walkway offering panoramic Himalayan views.

Continue to the Sanga Choeling Monastery, built in 1697 AD, set atop a ridge and considered among the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. Next, visit the historic Pemayangtse Monastery (built in 1705), a three-storey structure decorated with murals and statues of saints and Rinpoches.

In the afternoon, drive to Yuksom, stopping en route at the sacred Khecheopalri Lake—revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. On arrival, check in to your hotel.

DAY 041st Day Trekking – Trek to Tshoka (3050m) via Bakhim

Begin your trek this morning toward Tshoka, a small mountain village where you will camp tonight. En route, pass through Bakhim (2790m), another picturesque settlement.

The trekking path winds through dense forest, providing opportunities to observe rich Himalayan flora and fauna. Cross several small streams before reaching your campsite.

DAY 052nd Day Trekking – Trek to Dzongri (4020m)

After breakfast, continue your ascent from Tshoka toward Dzongri, your next campsite. The trail cuts through thick rhododendron forests, offering views of diverse flowering species.

Arrive at Phedang village, known for its breathtaking vistas of snow-covered Himalayan peaks. From here, the path undulates through forest terrain until you reach the meadows of Dzongri, surrounded by striking mountains.

DAY 063rd Day Trekking – Trek to Thangsing (3930m)

This morning, trek onward to Thangsing. Ascend to the Dzongri Ridge for remarkable views of Kanchenjunga, Pandim, and other towering peaks. Continue through rhododendron forest as the trail descends toward Kockchurang.

Follow the Prekchu River until you reach the vast Thangsing meadows, where you will set up camp for the night.

DAY 074th Day Trekking – Trek to Samiti Lake (4300m)

After breakfast, begin your gradual trek toward Samiti Lake, a high-altitude freshwater lake. The trail leads northward through alpine meadows and along a narrow stream, eventually reaching the moraines of the Onglakthang Glacier.

From here, enjoy magnificent views of the southern face of Kanchenjunga as you proceed to Samiti Lake.

DAY 085th Day Trekking – Trek to Goecha La (4940m), Descend to Thangsing

Start early this morning to reach Goecha La, one of the finest viewpoints of Kanchenjunga. Initially, the trail ascends gently before turning into a steeper climb toward the pass.

The route passes across the Zemathang Plateau, eventually reaching a glacial lake near the final ascent. Spend some time taking in the extraordinary mountain views before retracing your steps to Samiti Lake, and continue descending to Thangsing for the night.

DAY 096th Day Trekking – Trek to Tshoka (3050m)

Descend through the valley from Thangsing, retracing the route while bypassing Dzongri. Walk through the rhododendron forests before arriving at Tshoka, where you will camp again tonight.

DAY 107th Day Trekking – Trek to Yuksom, Drive to Pelling

Board your vehicle for the drive back to Pelling, and check in to the hotel upon arrival.
